Join Tara Marie for an 8-week beginners yoga course every Tuesday night commencing 15th January, 7.30-8.30-pm.
Welcome 2019! Have you made yourself a New Years resolution to commence yoga? Then look no further. We would like to teach you everything we know about yoga and more. We believe, yoga is something you do, not just watch, or read about. It requires getting on the yoga mat and been a student again, learning from a good teacher, whereby you embody the postures, practice the breathing methods, and absorb the ancient wisdom.
We believe your first impressions of yoga needs to be a good one, and at Dancing Warrior Yoga we do everything we can to make sure your first impression is excellent, informed and long lasting. You also receive some practice tips to do as homework.

This workshop has been designed for those who are new to yoga and are looking for an introduction to the practice in a safe and supportive environment. You will learn how to safely practice a series of foundation poses as well as touching on the yogic philosophy behind the practice. You will explore how to use yoga props to modify the postures to suit every body type, age and level of fitness.
The workshop will also include breathing and meditation techniques to calm the mind.
You will learn:
- Foundation poses
- Safe alignment principles
- Breathing techniques (pranayama)
- Yoga philosophy (the 8 Limbs of yoga)
- Practicing with intention and mindfulness
This workshop will give you all the tools needed to commence on your yoga journey. A regular yoga practice improves core strength, flexibility, muscle tone and body awareness whilst calming the mind through the use of breath. Take the first step on your pathway towards increased health, vitality and happiness!
